These terms apply to the use of this site. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the site. If you do use the site, your conduct indicates that you agree to these terms. If you have any queries about the terms or any amendments please contact us via the form at contact us.

This site is offered to you by Infer. Your use of this site constitutes your agreement to the following terms in addition to the service agreement ("Contract") between your organization and Infer governing your access to this site. If you do not agree with these terms or with the terms in the Contract, then you are not authorized to use this site.
  1. This site is made available to you solely for the purpose of enabling Infer to provide services to you and it may not be used for any other purpose. The terms of the Contract will also apply to your use of this site.
  2. Whilst we use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the security of the web site and the hosting service, we cannot guarantee the security and integrity of the system used to access the service or of the Internet.
  3. You will take all reasonable precautions to protect passwords and any other security items issued to you and will prevent their unauthorized use. If you become aware of any unauthorized access or use of the site using your passwords you must contact Infer immediately.
  4. Infer may amend these terms from time to time. You should check this notice on a regular basis in order to be aware of any such changes. If you no longer want to comply with these terms (as amended) you should immediately cease use of the site and notify Infer through our e-mail address notified above.

Copyright and all intellectual property rights in the site, all graphic representations or images on it or relating to it and the Software are vested in Infer. No part of the text or graphics on this site may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical or otherwise, including by photocopying, facsimile transmission, recording, re-keying or using any information storage and retrieval system without permission in writing from Infer.

  1. The Software is provided "as is". You agree that by accepting the terms of this agreement, you are expressly acknowledging that the use of the Software is at your own risk.
  2. Infer makes no warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to the Software and any accompanying documentation.
  3. In no event shall Infer be liable for any damages (including damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use the Software, even if Infer has been advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation of liability shall have no application to any liability for death or personal injury nor to any liability arising as a result of fraud on part of Infer (or for which Infer is vicariously liable) nor to any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

This statement sets forth our privacy policy for the ClaimsGator.com web site, describing the practices we follow to respect the privacy of all visitors.

3.1 Data Collection and Purpose


The site is made available solely for the purpose of enabling Infer to provide services to you; it may not be used for any other purpose. These services will include but are not limited to the listed below:
  • Identification and verification purposes.
  • Monitoring and analyzing claims data.
  • Flagging incidents of aberrant claims activity among the workflow entities.
  • Data support to field audit workers to conduct investigation on entities as per approval and guidance by you.

3.2 Detailed Use of Data



3.2.1 Identification and Verification


When first entering the site you will be asked to supply certain information that will in turn be used to populate basic requirements for the services Infer provides via this site. You can update this information at any time in the future by requesting the site administrator for the change.

3.2.2 Claims explorer


Infer will collect and/or process your organization's claims data in order to provide guidance on which, if any, entities involved in your claims process is engaged in fraud or abuse of the claims process. This information will be parsed and presented in accordance with the agreement with your employer. The confidentiality of this information must be preserved as per the engagement terms with your employer.

3.2.3 Field audit services


As per the terms of our contract with your organization, Infer offers field audit services. Upon formal and written notification from your organization we will make select claims detail available to our field audit service workers to support their investigation of fraud or abuse of the claims process of your organization.

3.3 Data Amendments and Retention


Information collected via this site will only be kept in order to provide the required service. Once the service has been completed all information will be destroyed in accordance with Infer's data retention policies. Should you require your information to be updated, amended or deleted from our records you can do this via the site or by notifying your normal Infer contact.

3.4 Cookies

The ClaimsGator.com web site and/or any of its governed sections may use "Cookies". "Cookies" is a name for the technology that allows our site to store tokens of information (an identifier) in your browser used only by our site while you are on our site. Cookies help us track traffic patterns so that we know which areas of our site users like/don't like. We do not link personal data to the information contained in the cookie to determine or track the identity of any user to the site.

If you do not want to receive a cookie from ClaimsGator.com, you have the option of setting your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie so that you may determine whether to accept it or not (see your browser settings to do that).

Infer has implemented accepted standards of technical measure and security policies that protect the information it has under its control. These include:

The data you provide is shared only with authorized employees of Infer, in certain circumstances, and to a limited extent, your employer, and on a restricted basis to vendors who may supply information management services to us. Access to your information is limited by need, and those who have access to the data have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of such information. Infer will only disclose your personal details for the following reasons:
  • Where the transfer is necessary to fulfill your request.
  • Where we may be required to do so under the terms of our engagement with your employer.
  • As may be required by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process.

3.7 Links to Other Websites


Visitors to the ClaimsGator.com site may be able to follow links to other third party websites. Infer does not take any form of responsibility for the management of these sites and the data they collect. We would recommend that you read the site's privacy policy to learn more about its practices before submitting any information.

3.8 Changes to This Policy


Infer may change this policy statement as needed. If changes to the statement are made, please note that it may take up to 30 business days before new privacy practices are implemented.
